Aaaaannndddd we’re back! Hai :)
So it was brought to my attention… well several things have been brought to my attention:
1) it is no longer reading week (sad face), BUT that does mean that Pride UBC is back to it’s usual shenanigans. And by shenanigans I mean discussion groups.
2) Our lovely Co-chair, Abi, has told me that it would probably be a good idea to introduce myself (just so you all know who to blame for lack of updates and informal/scatter-brained writing style :P). So, I have chosen to acquiesce (but it’s not really reluctant…).
Hai! I’m Ema (a.k.a. awkward turtle… there is consensus on this title… apparently it fits), and nope I did not misspell my own name :P. I am the FLOW facilitator and a sort-of-kind-of-unofficial multimedia co-coordinator? I don’t really know about that second one, I just post stuff on Tumblr, and the website main page (I leave the important website things to Aria, who is brilliant btw).
About me… I am awkward… I usually act like a 5-year old because growing up is overrated. Also! I really don’t like being formal if I don’t have to be, which will probably come across in my writing/posts. I am… uhhh… ok, here’s the deal, I’m pretty approachable and I love questions; THE best way to get to know me is to ask me questions… about anything :). Oh, right… I am about a month and a half away from graduating with a biopsyc. major. Uhhh… how about this, if anyone wants to, you can email me questions… everything is up for grabs (so… if you have the guts to ask me, i will answer).
I am completely serious (and if I actually get questions, please let me know if you’d be ok with me answering it on Tumblr or on here… anonymously, of course!!!). Email any/all questions firstname.lastname@example.org :).
awkward turtle :).
